Ontario Fall Color Report: Outstanding viewing locations include Lion's Lookout in Huntsville and the spectacular drives along highways 117 and 118 as well as 169 from Gravenhurst northward.

The Haliburton region is now past peak with about 30% leaf fall however there are still some nice pockets of colour, mainly red, yellow and orange in the region. Highway 35 north of Minden, into Dorset still offers some nice colour. The fire tower lookout in Dorset is an ideal viewing location. The Muskoka region has peaked as well with some nice pockets of colour remaining. Should still be some colour for the Bala Cranberry Festival October 13th and 14th. Outstanding viewing locations include Lion's Lookout in Huntsville and the spectacular drives along highways 117 and 118 as well as 169 from Gravenhurst northward . Boat cruises of the beautiful Muskoka region offer a great way to enjoy the colours of the area. The Kawartha Lakes is starting to see some nice pockets of colour. About a 75% colour change . Highway 35 north of Lindsay is offering some nice colour. The Barrie, Huronia region, in particular the Horseshoe Valley region and Highway 400 extension, north of Barrie, is showing a 75% change, closing in on peak.

Greater Toronto Area:
